Notes
- Moses lived in Avon, Maine before moving to Waterville. This family was plagued by tragedy. Both sons died young in California, the only grandchild Artiella (1847-1864) tumbled to her death off a waterfall near Waterville and then the 2 oldest girls burned to death in a freak fire in Boston that was reported on the front page of the Boston paper.
