- Birth seen as 6 Nov. 1801 NH, middle name Lee in IGI. Jonathan is in 1850 Census of Boston, MA occ. 'shoe maker'. Daughter Sophronia age 4 (it must have supposed to be wife Sophronia age 44) and sons Jerome age 18 occ. 'Mariner' and James age 6 - children all born in Maine. In 1860 Census of Boston Jonathan is 'boot maker' born NH - sons Tufton K. age 32 born MA and James with them. In 1880 Census of Boston he is born NH. Jonathan's parents were born in MA but died in Winthrop, ME.
