Notes
- Harvard University graduate class of 1800 - came to Waterville in 1804. In 1820 while a member of the Senate, was instrumental in obtaining the charter for Waterville College (now Colby College). President of the Androscoggin and Kennebec Railroad chartered in 1845 and started in 1847. Served 6 years in the Maine Senate and 6 years in the Maine House of Representatives.
