- She was of Washington DC at marriage. 1900 census has father born England, mother born Washington, DC. Also has them married 32 Years. A Caroline Bacon is in 1850 and 1860 censuses of Washington, DC - parents Samuel Bacon and Mary A. and born 1842 and this is probably right as she would have been too young at marriage. (She is born 1856 in 1880 census of Vallejo, CA - lied about her age??)
