Charles and Susanna with daughter Sara A. in 1860 census of Kildare, Wisconsin - they are living with Robert and Emeline. A Charles age 37 born Maine in the home of Robert and Emily Crawford in Kildare, Juneau, Wisconsin in 1870 Census with children Sarah, Louis, Ida and Mason. In 1880 the family is in Byron, Monroe, Wisconsin. Wife's name is spelled Helen? and they have 9 children. He appears to be in 1900 census of LaGrange, Monroe, Wisconsin with second wife Sarah A. married 16 years with daughter Ida I. age 32. Charles was a veteran of the Civil War. 6th Wisconsin Infantry - wounded at Gettysburg, PA - served 3 years.
