- 'Cata and Sampson Freeman of Lyndsborough, both negroes' in marriage record. A Sampson came from Peru, ME in 1835.
- Resided Plantation # 5 in 1818. Marriage recorded by Samuel Butterfield but no date. He left 2 daughters when he died, one resided in Bangor and one near Boston, MA.
